SkinDiva Injection Artistry is owned and operated by registered nurse, Jodie Weir, under the supervision of her medical director, Dr Kathy Ferguson.

Jodie has 18 years of full-time experience in health care as a registered nurse. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002. Since graduating from University, Jodie has worked full-time in the Emergency(ER) Care Department. Her knowledge of Emergency Nursing has grown throughout the years, working with various patients, from critical care to non-urgent care.

Working in the ER Department has provided Jodie with abundant knowledge, critical thinking skills and abilities supported by completing various continuing education courses throughout her career.

• Trauma Nursing Core

• Emergency Nursing Paediatric

• Triage and Charge Courses

• The Western Emergency Department Operational Conference

With Jodie's acquired knowledge over the many years of ER Nursing, Jodie plays a critical leadership role as a Charge and Triage Nurse in the ER department. Following her passion and love for beauty, Jodie has completed Medical Aesthetics certification in Cosmetic Injectables from the Canadian Laser Institute in Saskatchewan, the International Academy of Aesthetics in Beverly Hills, and the APT Injection Training Academy in Ontario.

Continuing education and training is a vital aspect of being a good injector; Jodie will continue to attend various courses and seminars to keep up to date with the latest injection techniques in neuro-modulators and Hyaluronic Acid fillers.

Passion, skill and technique are three fundamental aspects of cosmetic injections. However, having an artistic eye and understanding one's beauty is critical in a cosmetic injector.
