SkinDiva Injection Artistry is owned and operated by registered nurse, Jodie Weir, under the supervision of her medical director, Dr. Kathy Ferguson.

Jodie brings over 24 years experience as a Registered Nurse, delivering compassionate, high-quality care across a wide spectrum of patient needs. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan in 2002 and has since dedicated her career to excellence in emergency medicine.

Throughout her nursing career, Jodie has worked full-time in the Emergency Department, caring for patients ranging from critical and trauma cases to non-urgent concerns. In addition to her frontline clinical role, she serves as a Coordinator in System Flo (formerly Bedline), where she plays an integral part in optimizing patient flow and supporting efficient department operations. Her years in emergency nursing have strengthened her clinical expertise, sharpened her critical thinking skills, and reinforced her ability to perform confidently under pressure.

Jodie’s commitment to professional growth is evident in her extensive continuing education. Her clinical training includes:

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)

• Triage and Charge Nurse Certification

• The Western Emergency Department Operational Conference

• Master Course in Injectables through the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine

Driven by her passion for beauty, artistry, and helping others feel confident, Jodie pursued advanced training in Medical Aesthetics. She completed her certification in Cosmetic Injectables through the Canadian Laser Institute, the International Academy of Aesthetics in Beverly Hills, the APT Injection Training Academy in Ontario, and the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine.

In addition to her clinical and aesthetic expertise, Jodie has completed multiple certifications in Business Management through the International Academy of Aesthetics, strengthening her knowledge in practice development, patient experience, ethical marketing, and clinical operations. Her commitment to mastery extends internationally, having completed advanced medical injection aesthetic training programs across Europe and North America, refining her techniques in advanced neuromodulators and dermal filler applications.

Jodie believes that ongoing education is essential to being a skilled, safe, and innovative injector. She continually advances her expertise by attending specialized seminars and masterclasses focused on the latest techniques in neuromodulators and hyaluronic acid fillers.

While technical skill and precision are fundamental to cosmetic injections, Jodie understands that true excellence also requires an artistic eye. Her deep appreciation for facial anatomy, symmetry, and natural beauty allows her to create results that are subtle, balanced, and personalized. She is dedicated to enhancing each client’s unique features while preserving their natural expression.

Using neuromodulators such as Botox®, Nuceiva®, and Dysport®, along with dermal fillers, Jodie works with the natural structure of the face to achieve refreshed, confident results. With her blend of clinical expertise, international training, artistry, and genuine care, Jodie is committed to helping you look and feel your very best.

When she’s not working, Jodie’s greatest joy is her family. Her boys are her life, and spending quality time with them is what she treasures most. You’ll often find her at the ball diamond, proudly cheering from the stands, or traveling across the country to watch her son excel and pursue his passion on the baseball field. At home, their small Yorkie — the family gem — keeps everyone smiling. Jodie also enjoys staying active at the gym and supporting her husband in running their second business, The Dugout Baseball Facility, combining her love for family, fitness, and community.
